Reframing neurodiversity for women of colour

I’m chairing a fabulous session with Naz Jacobs and Danai Harawa on Reframing neurodivergence for women of colour at the Women of Colour Melbourne Inc. Annual Gathering!

Come join us at RMIT University in Naarm/Melbourne for a thought-provoking and intimate discussion about diagnostic journeys, person-environment fit, and the role that culture, race, ethnicity, gender, spirituality and community play in the lived experience of neurodivergence.

This session will consider decolonial and intersectional feminist approaches to rethinking neurodiversity by and for women of colour, and the ways that systems and institutions can enable human flourishing and belonging or punish difference as deviance from cultural norms.
